This site is run by Brent Morrell ("I", "me"). This policy explains what information the site collects and what I do with it. It covers BrentMorrell.com only.
The short version
I collect your email address if you subscribe, and whatever you send me through the Let's Talk form. I use that information to send you what you asked for and to reply to you. I do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.
Information you give me
Email signup. If you subscribe, I collect your email address so I can send you new Train of Thought pieces and new guides.
Let's Talk form. If you send a message, I collect your name, your email address, the topic you chose, and what you wrote. I use it to reply to you.
Please do not send sensitive personal information through the form, such as health details or government ID numbers.
Information collected automatically
This site is built and hosted on Wix. Like most websites, it records technical details when you visit, such as your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you view, and the site that sent you here.
I see this information in summary form, such as how many people read a page. I do not use it to identify you. I don't have any time for that. The site does not run third-party advertising or ad-tracking tools.
Cookies
Wix sets cookies on this site. Some are required to keep the site secure and working. Others count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the pages will still load.

Who else handles it
Wix hosts this site, stores the subscriber list and form messages, and sends my emails. Wix handles that information under its own privacy policy, and its servers may be in the United States or other countries.
I may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Free downloads
The guides on the Resources page are free to download. You do not have to give me your email address to get them.
How long I keep it
I keep your email address until you unsubscribe. I keep messages for as long as I need them to reply and to keep a record of our conversation.
Your choices
Every email I send has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask me to show you, correct, or delete the information I hold about you. Email brentmorrell.hr@gmail.com and I will respond.
Some places, such as the European Union, the United Kingdom, and California, give residents specific rights over their information. I will honor a request like that wherever you live.

This site links to other sites, such as LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are their own.
Children
This site is written for working adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If I change how the site handles information, I will update this page and the effective date.
